How can Jogo help you?

At Jogo we recognise both the rewards and challenges of being a parent or carer.  Jogo offers a wide range of courses to parents and carers who want the best for the children and young people that they care for. We deliver training that is practical and understandable offering you tools and strategies that you can take away and use to get the most out of your relationship with your child. From introductory level trainings on particular issues to full parenting programmes, we offer training for you to sign up to; or training that we can deliver to a whole group such as a parent support group, interest group or parent carers group within settings such as nurseries, Sure Start projects or health clinics.   Jogo training allows you to learn in a safe, supportive and understanding environment.

 

What is the role?

Parenting and caring for children and young people is a highly skilled life changing role. The task requires love, sacrifice and commitment. What it does not require is perfection. It is recognised that parents and carers are not expected to function alone in the role and that seeking advice and support is a healthy part of being a parent or carer.
